If you are creating a quiz for your student portal You can describe it as: “IIT Bombay Sports Quiz” A sports-focused knowledge quiz designed to test students’ awareness of sports, athletes, tournaments, records and sporting history.
For the event article, I would avoid saying “MCQ quiz,” “buzzer round,” “5 rounds,” etc., unless we find an official event poster or rule document confirming it. Interestingly, IIT Bombay has also conducted other quizzes with clearly documented formats. For example, its Best Yogasana & Quiz Competition 2026 had an online quiz conducted over four days, with a new quiz each day and scores combined for final ranking.
